In pre-Columbian times, the sun and the sea were a ceremonial center of worship for the Incas. Later, Silver Island was visited by buccaneers and pirates. Finally, it belonged to one of the most famous family tours in Ecuador to be part of the Machalilla National Park. Isla la Plata is the second most important protected area in Ecuador."
Humpback whales arrive on the Ecuadorian coast every year from June to October.

While each boat is certified to carry up to 30 passengers, we strictly follow Machalilla National Park regulations and limit our daily groups to a maximum of 16 passengers, ensuring a more comfortable, personalized, and high-quality experience.
