FISHING TOUR IN ECUADOR (PESCA DE ALTURA)

Enjoy a fishing tour in front of Puerto Lopez and have a great time in the beautiful blue and green waters of the Pacific Ocean.


You can fish slouch weevil, swordfish, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, grouper, dorado, sierra, silver croaker, Murico, grouper, snook, and huayaipe. The species depends on the month of the year.
 

Book one of our tours, our boats from 31 to 41 feet in length, all of them with GPS and fishfinder. This program departs from Puerto López to Salango Island or out Isla de La Plata. Distance around 10 to 25 miles off land.

Season December to January: Marlin
Season February - March - April: Cherna, Corvina, Wahoo, Atun, Marlin (few possibilities)
Season Junio to September: Cherna, Corvina, Dorado

Meet with us in  Puerto Lopez Pier (south side of the Puerto Lopez beach)

You could choose between half-day or a full-day tour.

Half-day: 05:00 to 10:30 

Full day: 05:00 to 15:30

We could change the hours, but we prefer to leave early by the abundance of fishes.


RECOMMENDED FOR:

Families, single, couple of all age with love for the nature, adventure and the life.

Restrictions: This tour is suitable for kids under 8 ages! You could ask us.

WHAT´S INCLUDED?

Captain and sailor
Bottle water, ice, sodas, snack.
Life jackets, first aid kit, radio VHS, fishing equipment (3 fishing rods with baits), snack and all taxes.
A lot of fun!
 

WHAT´S NOT INCLUDED?

Tips, internal travel, towels. Hotel pick up is not included but it is easy to get to the Marina as it is right in the south Malecon of Puerto Lopez. 

We offer pick-up.
 

WHAT TO BRING?

Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, jacket and some money (for souvenirs, box lunch, and tips). From July to October the weather change every day, sometimes we have cold days.
 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many people can go on the boat? Until 16 passengers, but you remember, we have only three fishing equipment.
  • Do you have English speaking captains? Our captains and crew speak only Spanish, but we could offer an English guide.  The language will not be a problem.
  • Do the boats have a bathroom onboard? Yes. All our boats do.
  • Do I need to bring food? Food is not provided, only a snack (banana cake, fruit).
  • Could I smoke in the boat? It is not possible.
  • Will I get seasick? Seasickness depends on the individual and the conditions of the sea the day you go fishing. We recommend that if you do not know if you get seasick, take a commercial motion sickness medication or use the wrist bands or patches that help you prevent seasickness problems.
  • Does the boat include Safety equipment? Each boat counts with a First Aid kit and lifesavers for each passenger on board. Also, each boat includes Rescue equipment,  example: Radio VHS, flare, and Ring lifesavers. Our Capitan and sailor have a legal credential in aid and rescue.
